Franklin India Bluechip is an open-end equity fund that aims to achieve steady and consistent capital appreciation through investment in well-established, large size bluechip companies. The scheme seeks aggressive growth and aims to provide medium to long term capital appreciation through investment in shares of quality companies and by focusing on well established large sized companies.
Launched in October 1993 as a 3-year closed end fund, FIBCF was converted into an open end fund from January 1997. Ever since its inception, FIBCF has been ranked consistently among India's top performing funds.
